5.5.4 Configuring the Routing Tables
The Routing Tables submenu is used to configure the gateway's IP-to-Tel and Tel-to-IP
routing tables and their associated parameters:
îš„ General Parameters (refer to 'General Parameters' on page 120)
îš„ Tel to IP Routing Table (refer to 'Tel to IP Routing Table' on page 122)
îš„ IP to Trunk Group Routing (refer to 'IP to Trunk Group Routing' on page 126)
îš„ Internal DNS Table (refer to 'Internal DNS Table' on page 128)
îš„ Internal SRV Table (refer to 'Internal SRV Table' on page 129)
îš„ Reasons for Alternative Routing (refer to 'Reasons for Alternative Routing' on page
130)
îš„ Release Cause Mapping (refer to 'Release Cause Mapping' on page 132)
5.5.4.1 General Parameters
The General Parameters option is used to configure the gateway's IP-to-Tel and Tel-to-IP
routing parameters.
¾ To configure the general routing parameters, take these 4 steps:
1. Open the 'General Parameters' screen (Protocol Management menu > Routing
Tables submenu > General Parameters option).

2. Configure the general parameters according to the table below.
3. Click the Submit button to save your changes.
4. To save the changes to flash memory, refer to 'Saving Configuration' on page 256.
