Email
You can scan a document and send the scanned data as an email attachment.
1. At the control panel, press the SSeerrvviicceess HHoommee button.
2. Touch EEmmaaiill.
3. To specify one or more recipients, select one or both options:
• To add a recipient, touch NNeeww RReecciippiieenntt, type the new recipient email address, touch AAdddd, then touch
CClloossee.
• To search for and specify recipients, touch AAddddrreessss BBooookk, select an email address, select TToo, CCcc, or BBcccc,
then touch CClloossee.
4. To add the device as a recipient, touch AAdddd MMee.
5. To remove or change a recipient:
a. Select the applicable recipient.
b. From the menu, touch RReemmoovvee or EEddiitt.
6. To add or change the email subject, touch SSuubbjjeecctt, edit the text, then touch SSaavvee.
7. To add or change the email message, touch MMeessssaaggee, edit the text, then touch SSaavvee.
8. Set the various scan features, as needed. For details, refer to Scan Settings.
• Select the AAddvvaanncceedd SSeettttiinnggss tab, then set and save the advanced settings. Refer to Advanced Settings

• Select the LLaayyoouutt AAddjjuussttmmeenntt tab, then set and save the layout adjustments. Refer to Layout Adjustment
Tab.
• Select the EEmmaaiill OOppttiioonnss tab, then set and save the email options. Refer to Email Options Tab.
9. Press the SSttaarrtt button.
Note: The Mail Delivery Notification (MDN) and Split Send features on the File Format screen are available
only when using the email feature.
ADDRESS BOOK
1. At the control panel, press the SSeerrvviicceess HHoommee button.
2. Touch EEmmaaiill.
3. Touch AAddddrreessss BBooookk.
4. From the address list, select a recipient. If necessary, you can search for an address using one of the following
options:
• LLiisstt aallll ppuubblliicc eennttrriieess: This option displays the local address list.
• RReettrriieevvee eennttrriieess uussiinngg iinnddeexx: This option searches recipients in the index.
• SSeeaarrcchh PPuubblliicc: This option searches recipients in the local address list.
• SSeeaarrcchh NNeettwwoorrkk: This option searches recipients in the remote address list.
