8. Offset Stacking places each stack of printed pages slightly to the left or right of the previous stack for easier
separation. To set the offset stacking options:
a. Touch OOuuttppuutt//OOffffsseett//SSuubbsseett.
b. Touch RRiigghhtt--TToopp OOuuttppuutt TTrraayy or RRiigghhtt--MMiiddddllee OOuuttppuutt TTrraayy. For automatic creasing, touch RRiigghhtt--MMiiddddllee
OOuuttppuutt TTrraayy >> OOffffsseett SSttaacckkiinngg.
c. For Offset Stacking, select an option:
• SSyysstteemm DDeeffaauulltt
• NNoo OOffffsseett
• OOffffsseett ppeerr SSeett
• OOffffsseett ppeerr JJoobb
d. Touch SSaavvee.
9. For automatic image positioning, touch AAuuttoo IImmaaggee PPoossiittiioonniinngg, then touch OOnn or OOffff. To save the settings,
touch SSaavvee.
10. To save all the settings for Booklet Creation options, touch SSaavvee.
COVERS
To add covers to a copy job, select different paper trays for the first and last page. You can load the trays with
heavier stock, color, or pre-printed paper. The covers can be blank or printed.
The paper used for the covers must be the same size as the paper used for the rest of the document.
1. On the SSeerrvviicceess HHoommee screen, touch CCooppyy, then touch the OOuuttppuutt FFoorrmmaatt tab.
2. Touch CCoovveerrss.
3. To include both front and back covers that use the same paper tray and printing options:
a. For the Front Cover and Back Cover options, select the required settings for your job:
• BBllaannkk CCoovveerr: This option does not print any text on the cover.
• PPrriinntt oonn SSiiddee 11: This option prints a cover on Side 1.
• PPrriinntt oonn SSiiddee 22: This option prints a cover on Side 2.
• PPrriinntt oonn BBootthh: This option prints a front and back cover.
b. To select the paper tray to use for the covers and the main body of the document, touch PPaappeerr SSuuppppllyy.
c. Touch SSaavvee.
4. To include a front cover only, in the Back Cover field, touch OOffff. To include a back cover only, in the Front Cover
field, touch OOffff.
5. Touch SSaavvee.
