Network Printing
Print procedures vary depending on the application software that you are using. For more information, refer to the
documentation provided with each application.
To learn about print features, in the print driver screen, click HHeellpp, then review the feature information.
Note: PostScript and PCL print drivers have different print features and printing options.
PRINTING WITH THE POSTSCRIPT PRINT DRIVERS
1. Load the paper in the paper tray. Refer to Paper and Media.
2. From your computer, open the document that you want to print.
3. Select FFiillee >> PPrriinntt.
4. Select the required printer.
5. Select PPrrooppeerrttiieess.
A new window appears with Printing Options, Image Options, Document Options, and Advanced tabs.
6. On the Printing Options tab, select the appropriate settings for Job Type, Paper, 2–Sided or 1–Sided Printing,
Finishing, Print Quality, and Output Destination.
7. Click the IImmaaggee OOppttiioonnss tab, then select the appropriate settings for Lightness and Image Shift.
8. Click the DDooccuummeenntt OOppttiioonnss tab, then select the appropriate settings for Page Layout, Special Pages,
Watermark, and Orientation.
9. Click the AAddvvaanncceedd tab, then select the appropriate settings for Advanced Settings.
10. To save and close the Properties window, click OOKK.
11. Select the needed copies, then click PPrriinntt.

PRINTING WITH THE PCL PRINT DRIVERS
1. Load the paper in the paper tray. Refer to Paper and Media.
2. From your computer, open the document that you want to print.
3. Select FFiillee >> PPrriinntt.
4. Select the required printer.
5. Select PPrrooppeerrttiieess.
A new window appears with Printing Options, Image Options, Document Options, and Advanced tabs.
6. On the Printing Options tab, select the appropriate settings for Job Type, Paper, 2–Sided or 1–Sided Printing,
Finishing, Print Quality, and Output Destination.
7. Click the IImmaaggee OOppttiioonnss tab, then select the appropriate settings for Image Shift.
8. Click DDooccuummeenntt OOppttiioonnss tab, then select the appropriate settings for Page Layout, Special Pages, Watermark,
and Orientation.
