294 Configuring Switching Information
Authenticated Users
The Authenticated Users page is used to display lists of ports that have authenticated users.
To display the Authenticated Users page, click Switching

the tree view.
Table 7-1. 802.1x Authentication Commands
CLI Command Description
dot1x mac-auth-bypass Enables MAB on an interface.
dot1x max-req Sets the maximum number of times the switch sends an EAP-request
frame to the client before restarting the authentication process.
dot1x max-users Sets the maximum number of clients supported on the port when
MAC-based 802.1X authentication is enabled on the port.
dot1x port-control Enables manual control of the authorization state of the port.
dot1x re-authenticate Manually initiates a re-authentication of all 802.1x-enabled ports or a
specified 802.1X enabled port.
dot1x re-authentication Enables periodic re-authentication of the client.
dot1x system-auth-control Enables 802.1X globally.
dot1x timeout quiet-period Sets the number of seconds the switch remains in the quiet state
following a failed authentication attempt
dot1x timeout re-authperiod Sets the number of seconds between re-authentication attempts.
dot1x timeout server-timeout Sets the number of seconds the switch waits for a response from the
authentication server before resending the request.
dot1x timeout supp-timeout Sets the number of seconds the switch waits for a response to an EAP-
request frame from the client before retransmitting the request.
dot1x timeout tx-period Sets the number of seconds the switch waits for a response to an EAP-
request/identify frame from the client before resending the request.
show dot1x Displays 802.1X status for the switch or the specified interface.
show dot1x ethernet Shows the status of MAC Authentication Bypass.
dot1x guest-vlan Sets the guest VLAN on a port.
dot1x unauth-vlan Specifies the unauthenticated VLAN on a port.
