5.Alignthekeyedportionoftheplugwiththecommunicationportandinsertplugintoport.
INTRODUCTORYDISPLAY
ImmediatelyaftertheCDTisconnectedtothevehicle,itbeginsloadingcontrollerinformation.Duringthistime,the
loadingstatusisshownasapercentage,theCDT'ssoftwareversionisgiven,andstatus/informationiconsappearin
theupperrightcorner.Onceloadingiscomplete,thescreendisplaystheMainMenu.
NOTE:IfthePowerbuttonisusedtoturnONthehandsetandthehandsetisnotconnectedtoavehicle,themessage
“NoSystemDetected”willbedisplayed.
Intheeventthatthehandsetdoesnotdisplayanyinformation,orthescreenisdifculttoread,refertotheCDT
troubleshootingprocedures.SeeCDTTroubleshootingonpage11-26.
