Regularandconsistentmaintenancecanpreventvehicledowntimeandexpensiverepairsthatcanresultfromneglect.
Anychargernotfunctioningcorrectlyshouldberemovedfromuseuntilitisproperlyrepaired.Thiswillpreventfurther
damagetothevehicleandavoidthepossibilityofinjuryduetounsafeconditions.

•Donotexposechargertooil,dirt,mudordirectheavywaterspraywhencleaningvehicle.
•KeepallACconnectionsandtheUSBportcleananddry.
•Keepallcoolingnsclean.
•Ifthedetachableinputpowersupplycordsetisdamaged,replacewithacordthatmeetsthefollowingcriteria:

Forallothercountries:
Safetyapproveddetachablecord,3conductor,1.5mm²;minimum,ratedappropriatelyforindustrialuse.
Thecordsetmustbeterminatedononeendwithagroundingtypeinputconnectorappropriateforusein
thecountryofdestinationand,ontheotherend,anoutputgroundingtypeIEC60320C14plug.
USBSERVICEPORTCLEANINGANDCARE
Dependingonenvironmentalconditions,suchascoastallocations,open-airstoragefacilities,possiblecontamination
intheUSBportcouldresult,preventingconnectivity.Ifapoorconnectionisexperienced,cleaningtheUSBportlocated
inthefrontofthechargerwithanapprovedelectricalcontactcleanerwillrestoretheconnection.
AlwaysreinstalltheUSBportdustcoveraftercleaninganduse.
