•InstallsurgearrestorsonincomingACpowerlines.Surgearrestorswillhelpprotectelectrical
componentsinthechargerandonthevehiclefromallbutdirectorcloselightningstrikes.
•Twohigh-frequencychargerscanshareacircuit,whichshouldbeadedicated15or20ampere
separatelyprotected(circuitbreakerorfuse)single-phasebranchcircuitthatcomplieswithall
applicableelectricalcodesforthelocation.
•ConnectthechargerACsupplycordtoaproperlygrounded,three-wireoutletwithinthevoltageand
frequencyrangeshownonthecharger.
•Donotuseanadaptertoplugthechargerwithathree-prongplugintoatwo-prongoutlet.Improper
connectionoftheequipment-groundingconductorcanresultinaîš¿reoranelectricalshock.
•Placeallcordssotheywillnotbesteppedon,trippedover,orotherwisesubjectedtodamageorstress.
