•Donotmountthechargerinexceptionallyhotlocations,suchasonatinexteriorwallwithsouthernor
westernexposure,withchargersstackedtogetherandespeciallywithheatsinksnexttoeachother,etc.
•Chargermustnotbesubjectedtowaterspray.
Usethemountingholestosecurethecharger(Figure15-2).Positionthechargersothatishasadequateventilation
andthechargerstatusindicatorpanelisvisible.Thechargercanbemountedinanyorientation(right-sideup,upside
down,etc.)providedthecoolingîš¿nsareunobstructedithasadequateventilation(Figure15-3).
Tohelpensureoptimalchargetimes,mountthechargerinanareawhereambienttemperaturesduringcharging
remainbelow104°F(40°C).SeeThermalCutbackonpage15-4.
