solenoid.
ELECTRONICSMODULECOVERREMOVAL
1.Disconnectthebatteriesanddischargethecontroller.SeeDisconnectingtheBatteries–ElectricVehicles
onpage1-4.
2.Removethetwoplasticrivets(1)thatsecuretheaccesspanel(2)tothevehicle(Figure13-5,Page13-6).
3.Removecover(5)byrstreleasingthefourtabs(3)fromthematchingholesinthehoodofthebatterybucket.
Then,maneuverthecovertoreleasethetwohooks(4)thatsecurethecovertothebatterybucket.
CAUTION
•Becarefulnottobreakthetwohooks(4)onthebottomofthecover.Pushthebottomofthecoverup
toreleasethehooksbeforepullingcoverawayfrombatterybucket.
ELECTRONICSMODULECOVERINSTALLATION
1.Installcover(5)byrsthookingthefourtabs(3)intothematchingholesinthehoodofthebatterybucket(Figure
13-5,Page13-6).Then,usethetwohooks(4)tosecurethecovertothebatterybucket.
2.Placeaccesspanel(2)onvehicleandsecurewiththetwoplasticrivets(1).SeefollowingCAUTION.
CAUTION
•Exposuretowatermaydamageelectroniccomponents.
–Donotoperatevehiclewithoutthiscoverproperlyinstalled.
–Donotdirectwaterstreamintheareaofthecover.
