LUBRICATION
Twogreasettingsareprovided(oneineachspindlehousing).Lubricatethesettingsattherecommendedinterval
withtheproperlubricant.SeePeriodicLubricationSchedulesonpage10-8.

WHEELALIGNMENT
Wheelalignmentislimitedtoequalizingthecamberangleofeachfrontwheelandadjustingtoe-inofthefrontwheels.
NOTE:Priortomakinganyfrontsuspensionadjustments,inspectcomponentsforwearordamageandrepairor
replaceasnecessary.
CamberAdjustment
1.Checkeachfrontwheelwithaframingsquare.Attheoor(orground),thereshouldbeanequalamountofspace
betweeneachtireandtheframingsquare(Figure7-5,Page7-7).
2.Loosen,butdonotremove,thefourbolts(17)thatsecuretheleafspring(13)tothebottomspringplate(16)
(Figure7-11,Page7-13).SeealsoFigure7-6,Page7-7.
3.Loosen,butdonotremove,thehexnut(8)ontheadjustmenteccentric(7)(Figure7-6,Page7-7)inthecenterof
thespring.SeealsoFigure7-11,Page7-13.
4.Usea7mmdeepwellsockettorotatetheeccentric(Figure7-6,Page7-7).
5.Afteradjustingcamber,useacrisscrosspatterntotightenthefourspringretainingbolts(17)(Figure7-11,
Page7-13)to37ft·lb(50N·m).Thenrollthevehicleforwardonefulltirerevolutionandrecheckthecamber.
