F.4.5 STYLUS CHANGE
When the stylus needs to be changed on the probe, RDS cannot detect it automatically. The operator has
then to define the new stylus diameter (in case it has changed) and run the probe realignment.
1. Mount the probe on the arm
2. Access RDS Control Panel and select “Probe” tab
3. Select the mounted probe and click on “View”
4. Click on “Edit”, change the diameter value and validate
5. Validate next 2 prompts and run the probe alignment (see next chapter).
If you continue, you’ll have to realign the probe.
