Example
The following example configures the MSTP instance 1 path cost for
gigabitethernet port
1/0/ 9 to 4.
Console(config)# interface gigabitethernet 1/0/9
Console(config-if)# spanning-tree mst 1 cost 4
spanning-tree mst configuration
Use the spanning-tree mst configuration Global Configuration mode
command to enable configuring an MST region by entering the Multiple
Spanning Tree (MST) mode.

spanning-tree mst configuration

User Guidelines
For two or more switches to be in the same MST region, they need to contain
the same VLAN mapping, the same configuration revision number, and the
same name.
Example
The following example configures an MST region.
Console(config)# spanning-tree mst configuration
Console(config-mst)# instance 1 vlan 10-20
Console(config-mst)#
