STARTER/CHARGING RELAY
INSPECTION
Remove the starter/charging relay (page 6-8).
Connect
an
ohmmeter to the following relay connector
terminals.
CONNECTION:A-B
Connect a 12 V battery to the following relay connector
terminals.
CONNECTION: D - E
There should be no continuity when the battery is
connected and there should be continuity only when the
battery is disconnected.
If the above inspection is abnormal, replace the starter/
charging relay.
