Remove the floor step (page 2-19).
Check the hoses between the fuel tank, EVAP canister
[1], EVAP purge control solenoid valve [2], and intake
pipe for deterioration, damage or loose connection.
Check the EVAP canister for cracks or other damage.
Install the floor step (page 2-19).
Remove the left crankcase cover (page 12-6).
Check the drive belt

for cracks, separation or
abnormal or excessive wear
and
replace it if necessary
(page 12-8).
Using the suitable two flat plates, measure the drive belt

width
as
shown.

Replace the drive belt if it
