7. Select Switchingï€ ï€¾ VLAN  Basic  VLAN Configuration.
8. Specify the Reset Configuration setting.
If you select this check box and click the APPLY button, all VLAN configuration
parameters are reset to their factory default values.
Also, all VLANs except for the default
VLAN are deleted. The factory default values are as follows:
• All ports are assigned to the default VLAN of 1.
• All ports are configured with a PVID of 1.
• All ports are configured to an
Acceptable Frame Types value of Admit All Frames.
• All ports are configured with ingress filtering disabled.
• All ports are configured to transmit only untagged frames.
• GVRP is disabled on all ports and all dynamic entries are cleared.
Configure an Internal VLAN
This section displays the allocation base and the allocation mode of internal VLANs. The
internal VLAN is reserved by a port-based routing interface and is invisible to the end user.
Once these internal VLANs are allocated by port-based routing interface, they cannot be
assigned to a routing VLAN interface.
 To configure an internal VLAN:
1. Prepare your computer with a static IP address in the 169.254.100.0 subnet, for
example, 169.254.100.201.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from an Ethernet port on your computer to an Ethernet port on
the switch.
3. Launch a web browser
.
4. Enter the IP address of the switch in the web browser address field.
The default IP address of the switch is 169.254.100.100.
The Login screen displays.
5. Enter the user name and password.
