7. Select Security  Traffic Control > Port Security  Interface Configuration.
8. Port. Selects the interface to be configured.
9. Select the check box next to the port or LAG to configure.
Select multiple check boxes to apply the same setting to all selected interfaces. Select
the check box in the heading row to apply the same settings to all interfaces.
10. Specify the following settings:
• Security Mode. Enables or disables the port security feature for the selected
interface.
• Max
Allowed Dynamically Learned MAC. Sets the maximum number of dynamically
learned MAC addresses on the selected interface.
• Max
Allowed Statically Locked MAC. Sets the maximum number of statically locked
MAC addresses on the selected interface.
• V
iolation Traps. Enables or disables the sending of new violation traps designating
when a packet with a disallowed MAC address is received on a locked port.
Convert a Dynamic MAC Address to a Static Address
You can convert a dynamically learned MAC address to a statically locked address.
 To convert learned MAC addresses:
1. Prepare your computer with a static IP address in the 169.254.100.0 subnet, for
example, 169.254.100.201.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from an Ethernet port on your computer to an Ethernet port on
the switch.
3. Launch a web browser
.
4. Enter the IP address of the switch in the web browser address field.
The default IP address of the switch is 169.254.100.100.
The Login screen displays.
5. Enter the user name and password.
