[5] SHIFT FORK ROD AND FORK
1. Interlock balls (16) restrain the movement of the 1st-2nd shift fork rod (1), 3rd-4th shift fork rod (6) and 5th-6th
shift fork rod (3) at the same time. As a result, double engagement of the gear is prevented.
2. Detent balls (15) prevent the self disengagement of the gears.
3. When operating the main shift lever (12) with select motion, the main shift arm (10) is pushed by the main shift
shaft (17).
Therefore, the main shift arm (10) selects (A) (1st-2nd shift fork rod (1)) or (B) (3rd-4th shift fork rod (6)) or (C)
(5th-6th shift fork rod (3)).
4. When operating the H-L-C lever (11), the H-L-C shift fork (9) engages to H, L or C position.
