4.2.6 Attach the heparin syringe
Before you begin
CAUTION!
Check that the syringe size, syringe type and heparin type that you have specified in
the dialysis machine are the same as you actually use during treatment. If not, the
patient could be either over or under coagulated.
Procedure
1) Attach the prepared syringe to the heparin
line.
