Details
You need to set an appropriate voltage trigger level in order for the frequency counter to operate
properly. The frequency counter only counts cycles when the signal amplitude reaches the trigger
level. For example, if you set the trigger level for 10 V, any cycles with peak amplitude less than 10 V
are not counted.
You must select a specific threshold range (autorange must be set to off) before setting a level that is
not zero.
Example
:FREQ:THR:RANG 10
Set the measure function to frequency.
Set the threshold range to 10 V.
Set the threshold level to 5 V.
