13.4.4 Acvate voltage vector control (Imin controller)
The voltage vector control is used if a comparavely high starng torque must be provided.
This funcon ensures that the required motor current is maintained in the lower speed range.
NOTICE
The boost funcon described here adds to the 4Se
t voltage boost funcon. ^ 221
Only set one of the two "boost" funcons.
Recommendaon: torque increase in the lower speed range
Take into consideraon that the increased current at low speeds also entails higher heat los-
ses of the motor.
The v
oltage vector control is acvated by dening a current setpoint.

or the automac calculaon of the control parameters, the "Calculate Imin controller"
funcon is provided via parameter .

Seng of the current setpoint for the voltage vector control.
The
seng "0.00 A" deacvates the voltage vector control.
When dening the current setpoint, we recommend you to provide a
reserve of 20 % in order to largely exclude a "stalling" of the motor
caused by unexpected addional loads.
Example of starng torque = rated motor torque: set the current set-
point to approx. 120 % of the load current.
