13.7.2 Synchronous motor (SM): Compensate temperature and current inuences
The
properes of the permanent magnets of permanently excited synchronous motors
depend on the temperature and the amperage. The relaonship between motor current and
resulng torque changes correspondingly.
The inuences of the temperature and the amperage on the magnesaon can be taken into
account by the motor control and hence be compensated for.

o compensate for the temperature dependence of the magnets, the temperature coe-
cient (kT) of the permanent magnet must be entered in object 0x2C03:003 (linear char
ac-
terisc).

o compensate for the current dependence of the magnets, mulple grid points of a char-
acterisc must be entered in the following object (non-linear characterisc):
