13.7.2 Synchronous motor (SM): Compensate temperature and current inuences
The
properes of the permanent magnets of permanently excited synchronous motors
depend on the temperature and the amperage. The relaonship between motor current and
resulng torque changes correspondingly.
The inuences of the temperature and the amperage on the magnesaon can be taken into
account by the motor control and hence be compensated for.

o compensate for the temperature dependence of the magnets, the temperature coe-
cient (kT) of the permanent magnet must be entered in object 0x2C03:003 (linear char
ac-
terisc).

o compensate for the current dependence of the magnets, mulple grid points of a char-
acterisc must be entered in the following object (non-linear characterisc):
