1. A possible mounting location is in the upper section of the fuselage cavity, just forward of the ver-
tical tail section. The recommended location is shown in Figure A-19.

2. In determining a shelf location, ensure there is enough room above the shelf to install or remove
the magnetometer, as well as provide clearance for the associated cable harness as shown in
Figure A-20.
