Regardless of whether the authentication feature is being used or not, all jobs received
are saved.

Password Entry from Control Panel
Set whether a password is input when the system administrator or a user is using the
machine.
1 Select [Password Entry from
Control Panel].
2 Select [Off] or [On].

The input of a password is not required even if the password is set by "System
Administrator Password" (P.385) and "Password" (P.388) of "Create/Check User
Accounts".

Setting of "System Administrator Password" (P.385) and "Password" (P.388) of
"Create/Check User Accounts" becomes effective. Use password when the control
panel authenticate it.
Important • The setting of [Password Entry from Control Panel] applies to authentication on the
machine.When you are using CentreWare Internet Services or other external access,
regardless of the use of passwords setting, a password must always be input.Also,
password may be required depending on authentication methods.
Note • The system administrator password is also used to change settings from CentreWare
Internet Services.
