Changing the Quantity of Copies
To change the quantity of documents that are being scanned or copied, follow the
procedure below.
1 Select [Stop] on the touch screen
or press the <Stop> button on the
control panel.
2 Select [Change Quantity].
3 Specify quantity using the numeric keypad.
4 Press the <Start> button.
Note • The quantity you entered must be greater than the quantity that has already been copied. If
you enter a quantity that is the same as the quantity that has already been copied, no
additional copy job will be executed.
Interrupting the Copy Job
To temporarily interrupt a copy job in the progress to perform another copy job, follow
the procedure below.
1 Press the <Interrupt> button.
Important • Before pressing the
<Interrupt> button, make sure
that all documents have been
scanned. Interrupting is not
accepted while it is scanning
or [Next Original] is selected.
Note • The interrupt indicator lights to
indicate that the machine is in
the job interrupt mode.
2 Place a document on the document feeder or document glass, and change feature
settings as necessary.
3 Specify quantity using the numeric keypad.
4 Press the <Start> button.
5 When the interrupt copy is completed, press the <Interrupt> button.
Note • Interrupt indicator goes out to indicate that the job interrupt is canceled.
• If you placed the document on the document glass, then remove it.
6 Press the <Start> button.
