HP-GL2 Emulation
This explains how to operate the HP-GL Mode Menu and the settings that can be made
with it.
HP-GL Settings List
Items that can be set using the HP-GL mode menu are explained in two groups: basic
settings and advanced settings.
Basic Settings
Document Size 101 99 (Default): Auto
100: Paper
0: A0
1: A1
2: A2
3: A3
4: A4
5: A5
10: B0
11: B1
12: B2
13: B3
14: B4
15: B5
Sets the document size created by a PC client. When
Auto (99) is specified, the document size is determined
based on the Scaling Mode setting (the item number
160).
Paper Size 102 99: Auto
101 (Default): A Size
3: A3
4: A4
5: A5
14: B4
15: B5
Sets the paper size to be printed. This can be set if the
paper tray setting is either “Auto” or “Tray 5 (Manual
Feed)”. In addition, settings can only be made for cut
paper. When Auto (99) is specified, the paper size is
determined based on the Scaling Mode setting (the item
number 160).
Paper Tray 103 0 (Default): Auto
1: Tray 1
2: Tray 2
3: Tray 3
4: Tray 4
5: Manual Feed
Sets the paper tray to be used for printing.
Coordinate Rotation 104 0 (Default): 0 degree
1: 90 degree
Sets the paper orientation for printing.
