3.8 Removing and installing door handle
with access and start authorisation

Removal and installation are described only for the right door
handle. The removal and installation procedure for the left
door handle is basically the same.

Door handle stops in “open” state. Try not to push door handle
in, as otherwise mounting bracket will break off and a removed
door handle can no longer be installed.
3.8.1 Removing
– Remove lock cylinder housing ⇒ page 157 .
– Pull out door handle -2- towards rear slightly -arrow a- from
support for mounting bracket.
– Swing door handle around in direction of -arrow b-, connection
for interface for entry and start system is guided in mounting
bracket.
– When door handle is perpendicular to door, access and start
authorisation connector is “parked”.
– Pull door handle -1- out to right angle -arrow- in mounting
bracket -1-, the connection -2- for interface for entry and start
system is released at the same time.
