– Carefully prise trim over locking hooks -4- away from turn sig‐
nal -arrow b-.
– Release locking hooks -3- from mirror base carrier -arrow c-
using a screwdriver.
– Pull off trim -1-.
2.5.2 Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
• Finally check function.
2.6 Removing and installing side turn signal
and entry light in exterior mirror
Note

The removal and installation sequence is only for the left turn
signal repeater. The removal and installation of the right turn
signal repeater is similar.

The turn signal repeaters are fitted with long-life light-emitting
diodes (LEDs) instead of conventional bulbs.
♦
Therefore, changing bulbs is not necessary. In case of dam‐
age, the entire turn signal must be renewed.
2.6.1 Removing
Note
The lower part of the housing and the turn signal repeater are one component.
