3.6 Removing and installing striker pin
3.6.1 Removing
– Remove lock carrier cover ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage and load area compartment trims; Re‐
moving and installing lock carrier cover (estate) .
– Unscrew bolts -2- and remove striker pin -1-.
3.6.2 Installing
– Install striker pin -1- and tighten bolts -2-.
– Specified torque for bolts -2-: 22 Nm.
– Adjust striker pin ⇒ page 73 .
3.6.3 Removing striker pin with power latching
motor
– Remove lock carrier cover ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage and load area compartment trims; Re‐
moving and installing lock carrier cover (estate) .
– Detach connector -3- from power latching motor - V329- -2-.
– Unscrew bolts -4- and remove striker pin -1-.
