Removal and installation are described only for the right win‐
dow channel. The removal and installation of the left window
channel is similar.
♦
Do not bend the window slot seal when lifting off!
2.5.1 Removing window slot seal
Note
Window slot seal should not be bent when removing.
– Remove exterior mirror ⇒ page 391 .
– Start at rear window channel -arrow a- and carefully lift up
window slot seal -1-.
– Pull window slot seal -1- evenly, -arrows b- off door flange
-2-.
2.5.2 Installing window slot seal
Note
Window slot seal must not be tapped onto door flange.
– Press window slot seal evenly by hand onto door flange.
2.5.3 Removing trim panel
• Exterior mirror and window slot seal are removed.
