• Carry out functional test function before installing door trim.
Note
To prevent wind noise, ensure window channel seats evenly
when installing.
2.6 Removing and installing window chan‐
nel trim strip
2.6.1 Removing
– Remove window channel trim ⇒ page 349 .
– Push window channel in top rear area -2- slightly to side.
– Remove clip -3-.
– Insert removal wedge - 3409- carefully between trim strip -1-
and window channel -2-.
– Push removal wedge - 3409- forwards evenly between trim
strip -1- and window channel -2-.
2.6.2 Installing
– Spray window channel with soapy water.
– Press trim strip equally in window channel.
– Then press window channel fully into mounting of trim strip
with roller - T 10314- .
