WARNING
Remove and install drive for sliding/tilting solar panel only
when roof is closed ("0" position).
The requirements for removing and installing drive are: Engine
not running and ignition off, key not in ignition and door open.
– Switch off engine and ignition, withdraw key and open door.
• This condition must remain until drive has been installed.
Note
Remove or install drive for sunroof only when sunroof is closed
(zero position ⇒ page 204 ).
– Remove bolts -arrows- and pull out drive for sliding/tilting sun‐
roof.
– Unclip and separate connector.
The screws for the drive are microencapsulated and must always
be renewed, specified torque: 3.5 Nm.
2.13 Adjusting drive for sliding/tilting sunroof
(zero position)
Drive removed but still connected electrically.
– Switch on ignition.
– Select “roof closed” using preselection control rotary switch.
– Drive automatically runs to zero position and switches off.
– Switch off ignition.
– The viewing hole is protected by a cover. Lever off cover -1-.
– The coloured marking -2- in viewing hole and protruding lug
-3- must align.
– Install drive in this position (zero position) with sunroof closed.
