13.6.3 Installing side member extension
– Clean bonding surface -5- ⇒ page 443 .
– Check grommets -3 and 6- for damage and renew if neces‐
sary.
– Pull off backing from adhesive tape -8-.
– Align side member extension -1-, locate on side member and
clip in place.
– Secure spreader rivets -2-.
– Minimum curing period ⇒ page 444

Installation of the wheel arch trim is described only for the left
side. The right side is analogous.

The wheel arch trim cannot be removed without damaging it.
