1.8 Removing undamaged rear window (saloon)
Note
If the glass is to be used again, ensure that electrical connections for window heater and aerial module are not
damaged.
– Remove C-pillar trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep.
gr. 70 ; Pillar trims and rear shelf ⇒ General body repairs,
interior; Rep. gr. 68 ; Rear shelves/sun blinds .
– Separate connections for heated rear window on left and right
-5- and secure these to window with adhesive tape.
– Lower moulded headliner ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70 ; Roof trim; Lowering and installing moulded head‐
liner (saloon) .
– Moulded headliner can now be lowered sufficiently to allow
rear window to be cut out without damage occurring to head‐
liner.
