3.9 Removing and installing the exterior
seal
3.9.1 Removing exterior seal
– Remove front glass panel ⇒ page 215 .
– Remove rear glass panel ⇒ page 219 .
– Pull exterior seal -1- off all round.
– Cut off all round profile of outer seal -1- in -arrow- area, flush
with edge of roof -2-.
– Remaining
part -5- stays between roof -2- and assembly frame
-4-.
Note
If the remaining part of the seal becomes detached, bond it to the roof using 1-component glass adhesive .
