2.4 Removing and installing mirror housing
Note
Removal and installation are described only for the left mirror
housing. The removal and installation of the right mirror housing
is similar.
2.4.1 Removing
– Push one of the wedges - T10383- in between mirror housing
-1- and turn signal light -3-.
– Twist wedge in direction of -arrow a- this pulls the housing
-1- under the trim -2- forwards and releases the locking device
-4-.
– Then pull mirror housing -1- upwards off mirror base carrier
-arrow b-.
2.4.2 Installing
– Position mirror housing -1- and press mirror housing into lock‐
ing hooks -4-. Locking lugs can be heard to engage.
