3.3 Removing and installing rear lid
3.3.1 Removing
– Remove rear lid trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep.
gr. 70 ; Rear lid trim; Removing and installing rear lid trim
(estate)
– Carefully lever cover -2- out of locking device on hinge.
– Disconnect all connections in rear lid.
– Release boot -4- and guide electrical wiring through opening
in rear lid.
Further removal requires the help of a second mechanic.
– Loosen bolts -6-, do not remove.
– Remove gas strut -5- ⇒ page 75 .
