1 - Rear lid (saloon)
2 - Trim strip

– Lightly heat trim strip
with hot air blower -
V.A.G 1416- and pull it
off rear lid carefully.

– Remove existing adhe‐
sive residues with adhe‐

– Immediately before fit‐
ting trim strip, clean
bonding surface thor‐
oughly with adhesive re‐
mover - D 002 000 10- .
– Centre trim strip on rear
lid and press on.
– Press trim strip firmly
onto rear lid with roller - T10314- .
