PROCEDURE
1 Do a check of the distance (X) to make sure that the engine is not tilted. The distance
(X) must be zero before you do a check of the pressure gauges (007, Figure 6-24).
2 Do a check of the oil pressure values at the gauges (003). If the values of two opposite
engines stays added together are less then 120 bar, do as follows:
2.1 Refer to the documentation of the manufacturer.
2.2 Decrease fully the oil pressure.
2.3 Fill the accumulator with nitrogen to a pressure of 40 bar.
2.4 Make sure that the pressure stays constant. If not, there is a leak in the gas
system.
2.5 Increase the oil pressure to 80 bar.
2.6 Make sure that the pressure stays constant. If the pressure does not stay
constant, change piston seals.
2.7 Make sure that the values on the pressure gauges are the same as the opposite
engine stay.
