WARNING
Injury Hazard: Hydraulic tools can cause injury to personnel. Always put on gloves, a
face shield and safety goggles when you do work with hydraulic tools.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
• The lubricating quill must be removed, refer to section 7.2.1 Lubricating quill - remove
• During this procedure, use oil SAE50 at 40°C (approximately 200 cSt) or SAE30 at 25°C
(approximately 190 cSt).
• During this procedure, contamination of the non-return valve with dirty or metal chips
must be prevented.
