3 To remove the toothed rack, do the steps that follow:
3.1 Disassemble the bottom spring carrier (001, Figure 10-10) together with the
pump plunger (003).
3.2 Put the pump plunger (003) in a dry, clean area to prevent damage.
3.3 Remove the compression spring (002).
3.4 Remove regulating sleeve (004) together with the top spring carrier (005).
3.5 Remove the screws (008).
3.6 Remove the circlip (010) and the stop ring (006).
3.7 Remove the flange (007) together with the rod seal ring (009).
3.8 Push out the toothed rack (011).
