REP 4.7 Rotary Motor

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Rear Cover (REP 14.6).
3. Remove the Rotary Motor (Figure 1).
Replacement
CAUTION
Be careful not to pinch the harness when reinstalling the Rotary Motor.
1. Reinstall the Rotary Motor in the reverse order of removal.

Removal

1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Rear Cover (REP 14.6).
CAUTION
The Rotary Motor PWB and printer remain connected by a harness. Be careful not to pull too
far apart while performing the removal steps.
3. Remove the Rotary Motor PWB (Figure 1).
Replacement
1. Reinstall the Rotary Motor PWB in the reverse order of removal.
