Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 8.8 Tray Housing

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Bypass Tray/Registration Assembly. (REP 8.6)
3. Remove the Bypass Tray Feed Assembly. (REP 8.7)
4. Remove the Tray Housing. (Figure 1).

Replacement
1. Install from the front arm, while being careful not to pinch the harness.

Removal

1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Bypass Tray/Registration Assembly. (REP 8.6)
3. Remove the Main Paper Handling Frame Assembly. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.

Disconnect the
connector

Remove the front arm of the Tray Housing
from the Bypass Tray Assembly and remove
the Tray Housing

Remove the rear arm of the
Tray Housing by pushing on the
housing tray arm until the boss
is free from its retaining hole

Remove the two screws from
the top side and remove the
Bypass Tray Feed Assembly

Remove the screws
from each end and
separate the Main
Paper Handling
Frame Assembly
1
Disconnect the two connectors on the underside
and one at the opposite end of the assembly
