Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 8.24 Takeaway Clutch

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Paper Feeder Assembly. (REP 8.23)
3. Remove the Takeaway Clutch. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the removal procedure in reverse.

Removal
WARNING

1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Paper Feeder Assembly. (REP 8.23)
3. Remove the Nudger Solenoid. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the removal procedure in reverse.
2. Make sure the solenoid plunger is properly seated to the Link.

Disconnect the
spring

Remove the two screws
and separate the Bracket
from the Paper Feeder
Assembly

Remove the E-ring
and Takeaway
Clutch from the
Takeaway Roll
1
Disconnect the
connector
2
Remove the screw
and Nudger Solenoid
