REP 8.10 Lift Plate Sensor

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Bypass Tray/Registration Assembly. (REP 8.6)
3. Remove the Bypass Tray Feed Assembly (REP 8.7)
4. Remove the Tray Housing (REP 8.8)
5. Remove the Lift Frame Assembly. (REP 8.11)
6. Remove the Lift Plate Sensor. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.

4. Remove the Tray Housing (REP 8.8)
5. Remove the Lift Frame Assembly. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.
NOTE: Install so that the boss of the Bypass Tray Frame is aligned with the hole on the left
side of the Lift Frame Assembly.

Lift and remove the
Bottom Plate

Set the Lift Down Actuator to
the up position and secure it

Disconnect
the connector
4
Release the locking
tabs and remove the
Lift Plate Sensor
1
Disconnect the
connector
2
Remove three screw and the Lift
Frame Assembly
