Initial Issue
REP 8.28 Duplex Entrance Sensor

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Duplex Tray Assembly. (REP 8.27)
3. Remove the Front Cover of the Duplex Tray Assembly.
4. Remove the Duplex Registration Chute. (Figure 1)

5. Remove the Duplex Entrance Sensor. (Figure 2)

Replacement
1. Perform the removal procedure in reverse.

Remove the two
screws and the
Duplex Registration
Chute

Disconnect the
connector
2
Release the locking
tabs and remove the
Duplex Entrance
Sensor
