Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 9.21 IBT Belt

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Open the Bypass Tray / Registration Assembly (REP 8.6).
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch the surface of the IBT Belt during the removal. Oil from your hands can
contaminate the IBT Belt.
3. Remove the IBT Assembly (REP 9.16).
4. Remove the Rails (Figure 1).

5. Reinstall the Tension Lever, and lift the Push In Lever while turning.
6. Remove the Shaft (Figure 2).

7. Turn the Tension Lever, lift the arm to which the Push In Shaft is attached, and remove
the Tension Lever.
8. Push in the metal cams on both sides of the Transfer Assembly, insert a hexagonal
screwdriver into the hole on the side, and lock the metal cam.
