Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 11.10 Front / Rear Gear Shaft

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Front Cover or Rear Cover as required.
NOTE: The removal procedure for both the Front and Rear Gear Shafts are the same.
3. Remove the Front / Rear Gear Shaft (Figure 1).

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.
2. Perform a Sorter Bin Cam Position Adjustment (ADJ 11.1)

2. Remove the Front Cover or Rear Cover as required.
NOTE: The removal procedure for both the Front and Rear Bin Cams are the same.
3. Remove the Front / Rear Bin Cam (Figure 1).

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.
2. Perform a Sorter Bin Cam Position Adjustment (ADJ 11.1)

Release the Gear Shaft
from the retainers

Remove the Gear Shaft

NOTE: Retain the KL
clip, top and bottom
bearings, and gear for
later reinstallation.
Remove the KL clip
and move the Bin Cam
downward to free it
from the Gear and top
retainer

Release the bottom of the Bin
Cam from its retaining clip

Remove the
Bin Cam

Release the
Bin Cam
Spring
NOTE: The Bin Cam Switch
Actuator is not present on
the Front Bin Cam
