Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 9.8 Erase Lamp

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Locating Rail (REP 9.5).
3. Remove the Erase Lamp (Figure 1).
Replacement
1. Reinstall the Erase Lamp in the reverse order of removal.

REP 9.9 Dry Ink Cartridge

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the appropriate Dry Ink Cartridge (Figure 1).
CAUTION
After removing, be sure to lay the Dry Ink Cartridge in its horizontal position in a safe place.
Replacement
1. Place the arrow on the end of the Dry Ink Cartridge facing toward the top in order to insert
the cartridge.
2. Reinstall the Dry Ink Cartridge in the reverse order of removal.
