Repairs and Adjustments
Initial Issue
REP 8.15 Preregistration Clutch

Removal
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or shock, do not perform repair activities with the power switch
on or electrical power applied to the machine.
1. Switch off the machine power and disconnect the machine Power Cord.
2. Remove the Bypass Tray/Registration Assembly. (REP 8.6)
3. Remove the Main Paper Handling Assembly. (REP 8.9)
4. Remove the Preregistration Clutch. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.

5. Remove the Preregistration Roll. (Figure 1)

Replacement
1. Perform the procedure for removal in reverse.

Disconnect the
connector and
release the wires
from the clip

Remove the E-
ring and the
Preregistration
Clutch
1
Remove the
Bearing
2
Remove the E-ring, gear,
clip and bearing
3
Lift the front of the Preregistration
Roll, remove the Roll
